FAQ

Benefits Of Studying Music

Why should my child start piano lessons?

Playing the piano has been scientifically proven to enhance a student’s performance in school. Engaging with the piano can improve abilities in math, science, and reading due to the mental engagement and coordination required.

Studies have shown that piano education stimulates the brain, enhancing functions that are directly involved in the processing of mathematical and scientific information. It also improves reading skills by enhancing comprehension and concentration.

Children as young as six years old can begin learning the piano. At this age, they typically have the attention span and physical coordination needed to start grasping the fundamentals of this instrument.

Classical music, known for its complex structures, helps young brains develop the ability to solve spatial problems more quickly. Even infants can recognize patterns in classical music, which aids in early cognitive development.

Playing the violin requires a combination of physical coordination and mental focus, which significantly enhances cognitive abilities such as attention, memory, and both spatial-temporal and fine-motor skills.

Children can start learning the violin as early as six to six and a half years old. At this age, they are usually capable of handling the physical aspects of the violin and are mentally ready to process the instruction.

Yes, beyond academic improvement, learning the violin teaches discipline, improves social skills through ensemble playing, and enhances emotional expression and self-esteem.

While individual experiences vary, most parents and teachers notice improvements in concentration, discipline, and academic performance within a few months of regular musical training.

At our school, we offer a range of music lessons including piano and violin. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to providing quality education that nurtures both skill and passion for music in every student.
