Born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia, Natella Aharonyan embarked on her musical journey at the prestigious P.I. Tchaikovsky School of Music. Her profound dedication to music led her to the Yerevan State Conservatory, where she immersed herself in extensive piano studies, graduating with honors. Over her remarkable career spanning more than 35 years, Natella has passionately dedicated herself to the art of piano instruction, teaching at both the Tchaikovsky School of Music and the Yerevan State Conservatory. Her teaching style, characterized by a deep understanding of classical piano repertoire and technique, has nurtured countless students, many of whom have gone on to achieve their own successes in the world of music.
In 1999, seeking new horizons and opportunities to expand her influence in music education, Natella immigrated to the United States. She initially settled in Boston, Massachusetts, where she quickly became a respected figure in the local music community. Her commitment to fostering musical excellence continued unabated as she enriched the lives of her students with her extensive knowledge and heartfelt teaching approach.
In 2022, Natella moved to Los Angeles, bringing her expertise to the International School of Music. Here, she continues to inspire and shape the musical journeys of her students. Natella’s approach to teaching piano is holistic, focusing not only on technique and performance but also on instilling a deep appreciation for the expressive power of music.
