Mrs. Zhanna Azaryan, a veteran piano instructor with a rich educational background and extensive teaching experience, has devoted over six decades to the art of piano. Her musical journey began in 1957, laying a solid foundation for what would become a lifelong dedication to music education and performance.

After completing her initial music education, Mrs. Azaryan continued her studies at the Husain Zeynali Music College in Kirovabat, where she graduated in 1970. Her passion for music led her to further her studies at the esteemed Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas in Armenia, from which she graduated in 1975. Her exceptional skills and dedication allowed her to commence her teaching career even before her graduation, starting as a piano instructor at the Barkhudaryan Music School in 1973.

Over her remarkable 49-year tenure at the Barkhudaryan School of Music, Mrs. Azaryan not only taught but also led the piano department, a role she assumed after demonstrating her profound expertise and leadership capabilities. Under her guidance, countless students flourished, achieving high marks and earning medals in various performance competitions, testament to her effective teaching methodologies and deep commitment to her students’ success.

In July of 2022, Mrs. Azaryan brought her extensive experience and passion for teaching to the United States, joining the faculty of the International School of Music in Los Angeles. Here, she continues to inspire and cultivate the musical talents of her students, enriching their lives with the timeless joy of piano music.
