Lusine Meliksetyan, born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia, is a distinguished choirmaster and music educator renowned for her deep passion for choral music and her commitment to nurturing young talent. She embarked on her musical journey at the Romanos Melikyan Musical College, where she initially honed her skills in music theory and performance. Furthering her education, Lusineh graduated from the National Conservatory in Yerevan, where she studied under the esteemed conductor Tigran Hekekian, gaining a profound understanding of choral conducting and music pedagogy.
Over the years, Lusine has held pivotal roles that have allowed her to shape the careers of burgeoning musicians. She served as both a music teacher and a conductor at the Opera Studio and the Tchaikovsky School of Music, where she was instrumental in producing high-quality performances that highlighted her ability to blend traditional and contemporary choral techniques. Since 2007, Lusine has been a pivotal figure at the International Music School in Los Angeles. In addition to her duties at the music school, Lusineh is also actively involved in community music outreach. Lusine has been a dedicated faculty member at the International School of Music since June 2009.
