Sona Sargsyan is a proficient pianist and dedicated educator who began her formal music education at the Yerevan State Conservatory in 2002. After five years of rigorous study, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2007, marking the beginning of her professional career in music.

Upon completing her degree, Sona took on significant roles as a Concertmaster at the Opera Studio of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory from 2007 to 2011, and at the Romanos Melikyan State Music College from 2008 to 2011. These positions not only honed her skills as a pianist but also developed her leadership in musical ensembles.

In 2011, Sona relocated to Los Angeles, where she began to focus intensively on teaching. She has since cultivated a successful career in private piano instruction, sharing her knowledge and passion for music with a diverse student body. Her approach to teaching combines technical skill with expressive musicality, tailored to fit the unique needs of each student.

Recently, Sona joined the faculty of the International School of Music, where she continues to contribute her expertise and enthusiasm for music education. At the school, Sona is instrumental in developing the piano program and inspiring the next generation of musicians through her commitment to excellence and a deep love for the art.
